My First Post...&& now a Mrs. Wingate

Wow. After a year and a half  of dreaming up my blog, it is live and ready for readers. This is so exciting! 1 1/2 years is a long time to make a dream a reality, but wedding planning (more on that later), working towards career goals, and raising a 3 year old (baby girl Harleigh Jean, aka Har J) has seriously taken a toll. Now that I feel that I have fully accomplished these major mile stones in my

life, there is finally time for all of the fun, enjoying life and blogging! And I couldn't be anymore excited. Balancing Bows and Heels is going to be my outlet for sharing fashion for that 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday work schedule & weekend wear of course! I want to share travel, lifestyle, recipes (because I vowed to my husband I would work on the cooking skills), and most importantly... I want to, if I am lucky, share advice for fellow working moms! The good lord knows being a working mom is not easy, but finding the perfect balance between Harleigh's bows and my heels is key.

Back to me accomplishing the aforementioned milestones. Not only is today HUGE because my blog  has officially launched, but I just beame a Mrs. Wingate 2 weeks ago. Pretty big things happening lately, I must say. Our wedding was at the most dreamy venue in all of the land at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. That will be a blog post to come later, if you were wondering. ;) For those of you that are married, you know how crazy wedding planning is. The day that we anticipated for so long flew by. It was MIND BLOWING. Me and Drew have had so many exciting things happening recently. It truly warms my heart and reminds me of how thankful we are for all of our friends and family. Seriously though, we are  so incredibly lucky and I will be forever grateful.

And of course, to the fashion part of this post... I have linked all of my outfit details! I find this to be the perfect fall transition look! I am simply obsessed with baker boy and big floppy hats! Deciding on one was near impossible,  so I have styled both for you all! Historically, white never goes out of season in Florida, so I deem it appropriate during any season :). This skort is fabulous for spring, summer and early fall. It is super versatile! I find it be a true staple for your closet. This cozy sweater can be styled with a cute skort, or jeans for a more casual look. I absolutely love it. Comfortable is an understatement. I have also linked Harleigh's simple yet super cute look. I wasn't able to find all of the exact items, but similar! I hope you enjoy!
