Eyelash Review with FACEit

Hi everyone -

Just in time for the holidays, I wanted to tell you guys about my experience at Jacksonville's newest Esthetician studio, FACEit!  It is conveniently located in the heart of Jacksonville. Right off of I-95 and Baymeadows...which is PERFECT. It makes it so convenient for all of the 904 residents to commute. And us local ladies know how spread out Jax is, so convenience it key!

When I first met the founder, Nikki, I felt so welcomed into her studio. She is seriously so sweet & personable. Which vibing with your Esthetician is a must for me personally. I mean if you are having someone do work on your face, we 100% have to vibe. It is terrifying to let a stranger do work on your money maker (face) if ya know what I mean, especially if you are expecting long term results.

Not only was I sold on Nikki being so fabulous, but her studio is so chic! She went with a Parisian theme and I love, love it. It is so sophisticated and truly showed me how professional she was. FACEit offers several different type of lash services. She can do Lash lift & Tint which gives your natural lashes lift, separation, and extra definition. The second option is Classic Lash Extension, which a more natural look. The third option, which is what you will see in my photos, is the Volume Lash Extensions, which will give your a more dramatic lash. I love my eyes to pop so naturally I chose this one.

I started my lash appointment by filling out a form which gave Nikki information about myself and my consent to allow her to apply the lashes. These forms are typical at any office. It was very simple and only took me about 2-3 minutes to complete. Then Nikki went over the type of lashes she uses which are Minky lashes. From my research and experience these are the best option for extensions out there.

A little back story on my lashes before we jump into the rest of my experience...

I got married a little over a month ago. I had individual lashes put on for my big day. When my husband and I were in Jamaica for our honeymoon, I thought it would be a bright idea to pull them all out myself. The salt water was making them fall out so I tried to finish the job solo. Well this resulted in me pulling out all of my natural lashes. It was absolutely humiliating. I had huge bald spots on my lid for weeks. Self conscious doesn't even begin to cover my emotions when it came to my face.

Back to my lash experience...

Nikki cleaned my lashes very well to make sure there was no residue or make up that would prevent the lashes for adhering well to my natural lashes. She then began to apply the lashes one at a time. The experience overall took 2 1/2 hours, but Nikki did mention it can take up to 3 hours. It just depends on your lashes. It was such a relaxing experience. Me and Nikki chatted the whole time and it flew by!

When I seen my lashes for the first time, I seriously did a triple take because I could not believe my results. The pictures speak for themselves.
