It is officially within one week until Valentine's Day. I am sooo excited because my husband planned a fabulous night out to TPC Sawgrass for the day of love. It is where we got married last October, so I thought that was so sweet of him to plan such a thoughtful evening. It is going to be so fun getting dressed up with Harleigh and Drew to wine and dine for the evening.
I wanted to share my experience with one of Jacksonville's photographers, Pompy Portrait. I had the pleasure of working with Angelica this week. She did a mini shoot with myself and one of my blogger besties Miranda. I knew she did amazing work, but I was not expecting the final product to be THIS good. I couldn't have dreamed up more stunning pictures.
Our mini shoot was just under an hour. In that hour, we took about 200 pics and Angelica nailed them! She is simply amazing! As a blogger, and just taking pictures in general, I appreciate when someone is honest with me when it comes to my poses and angles. I can't tell you how many times I receive pictures and am soo disappointed in how I look because no one is there to direct me. Angelica was so open to trying out my ideas, but also included her own which made the pics turn out fabulous. She told me what poses to use, which ones to do and not to do, and even taught me how to properly fluff my dress for pics. I will forever remember that helpful tip!
Ang is not only phenomenal at her passion for photography, but also one of the coolest people I have ever met. She is so easy to talk to, and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat. It is so important to vibe with your photographer, especially if the moments you are wanting to capture will never happen again.
Pompy Portraits specializes in a variety of shoots. She is experienced with weddings, boudoir, branding, engagement, and maternity shoots! She is even traveling internationally this year for a wedding. (Can we say jealous?) I am sooo excited to see everything that the future has in store for this sweet girl!
