Happy Monday Friends!
I hope you are all surviving the Monday-est Monday Ever.
Writing this blog post has me wishing I was back in our sweet AirBnb on 24 Bee Street in Charleston, South Carolina.
We had the pleasure of lodging in this beautiful, historic 2 story home during our trip. If any of you guys are planning a trip to Charleston, I already have where to stay covered!
This house home was built in 1838. It is actually divided into 4 separate quarters so 4 groups of visitors can visit at at time. Despite being quartered out into different living spaces, it is still very spacious. Each quarter has its own private balcony.
Our house sleeps up to 7 people and has 2 bathrooms. There were 6 girls (who had WAYY TOO MUCH with them) in our group, and we were completely comfortable the whole time.
I could not believe how old the home was, it truly had an antique Charleston charm to it. The owner, Hayden, takes such pride in his Air BnB. He added a modern touch and upgrades to it. The upgrades didn't overpower the charm that the old house had, which I loved.
Not only are the aesthetics gorgeous, but the location is ideal for any out of town visitor. We quickly realized that parking was not fun on King Street. I do not recommend driving there once you arrive. For those that don't know, King Street is where all of the best restaurants, clubs and boutiques are located. Lucky for us, our Air Bnb was only about a 15 minute walk, and 5 minute uber ride from King Street.
Hayden has several properties around Charleston! I would love to have the opportunity to stay in them all, but I will show you what the 24 Bee street location looks like. It is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly located downtown.
