Charleston Travel Guide

Hi Everyone,

I am currently gearing up for my next vacation, and before I get too ahead of myself I wanted to share my previous girls weekend with you all <3

It has almost been two weeks since my trip to Charleston, SC. I can not get over how truly beautiful and unique the city is. I made so many memories, tried the best food, and had some unforgettable experiences. The group of girls that went made all of this even more meaningful! We went as "co-workers" and now we literally talk all day, everyday. It is amazing how traveling can bring people together.

If you have never been to Charleston, I can not tell you enough how colorful this city is. There are pastels and bright, gorgeous flowers everywhere. . The houses were all unique because most of them had been around since the 1800s. Keep your camera or phone charged because you will want to take pics around every corner.

With all of the gorgeous locations,  Charleston is a perfect city to dress up and strut around in (if you're into that sort of thing)! I swear my calf muscles are 100x more toned since I wore heels and wedges basically the whole time. You will see later on in my post, that there are surprisingly other things to do in the area that don't involve midi dressed, Frośe, and pimento cheese.

Since there is soo much to show you guys I broke up vendors by category! I hope this helps anyone going to Charleston find some fun things to do or eat :) Don't forget, I have a full recap of our AirBnb on a separate post HERE <3

TRANSPORTATION

Your Souther Ford Dealers were so awesome to let us borrow the 2019 Expedition XL! I want one after riding in this baby for the weekend. The amenities in it are unreal! It has bluetooth, gps, wireless charging for your phone, and the trunk closes with the press of a button.

If you are located in the central florida, North Florida, Panhandle, southern alabama, and Southeastern Georgia, Give them a follow! They will let you test drive one today!

WHERE TO SHOP

If you do anything while you are in Charleston, please do me and yourself a favor and stop in Cannonborough Collective. It is one of the most Instagrammable shops I have ever visit. They have the most adorable items ranging from household decor to accessories. A lot of the items that they sell in their corner street boutique are crafted local.

The store is conviently located near down town. If you are not traveling to Charleston anytime soon, but still want to check out their items I linked their site for you HERE.

WHAT WE DID

 Kayaking Tour

We changed our scenery by going on a kayaking tour with Nature Adventures Charleston . It was so fun y'all and such a good way to change up our trip. Our tour guide was Ben and he was so awesome. Ben had a ton of personality and knowledge about the local area, and wildlife we came across. Not only was he hysterical, but he was super good at teaching us the proper way to kayak. I felt like I got a good workout in, and had a little bit of adventure in our trip with the girls.

Nature Adventures offers guided and unguided kayak, paddle boarding and walking tours. It is just across the bridge, about a 15 minute drive from downtown, and there are a ton of good photo opportunities.

You guys should check them out for yourselves:

PHOTOSHOOT WITH RACHEL DOBLIN & UNITED MONOGRAMS

After the kayaking, we dolled back up for another super fun opportunity! We had the chances to work with Rachel Doblin! She is the photographer for United Monograms and is the sweetest thing since sweet tea. She is so knowledgable and knows the best locations to shoot. We started off our group session with United Monogram looks. If you guys have not heard of United Monograms, I will link them HERE

United Monograms was so sweet to give us each an embroidered monogram Tee for the shoot. How cute are they?!

And that's a wrap guys.... our first Blogger Trip to Charleston is in the books! We are already working on our second one planned for the end of June, so keep an eye out! If you are planning on traveling and have any questions, please feel free to reach out :)
