Hilton Orlando Weekend Trip

Summer is already coming to an end, and if you're like Drew and I, you probably want to sneak in one last getaway! Look no further..

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Orlando to celebrate their Orlando Splash celebration. The Hilton Orlando hosts this fun celebration every summer to give families a stay to remember. It includes bonfires by the pool (with s'mores), poolside night movies, and activities for kids. It was the perfect way to top off summer 2019!

Me and Drew started our trip with sleeping in in our cozy room on the 15th floor. We had the cutest room with a perfect view of the pool/ recreational area. The pool at this resort is unlike any I have ever visited before. I forgot we were in the middle of Orlando most of the time, if I am being honest. There is a lazy river, private pool side cabanas, and even a splash pad for the kids. I loved that this was more of a getaway for me and Drew to unwind, so we made our way to the adult pool which is for guests 18 and older. (Adult time, YES PLEASE.)

We really wanted to make our trip more accommodating, so we booked a private cabana. It was so fabulous because we had a personal waiter for food and cocktails, cold soda and water beverages waiting for us, and a fruit basket. I don't think I can hang by a pool any differently now that I have experienced the hospitality of a private cabana. It was also a plus to sneak out of the sun for a few, because we all know that Florida can turn up the heat in the summer.

I think my favorite part of the resort was how friendly the staff was AT. ALL. TIMES. We didn't arrive until 11:00 PM on Friday, and the woman checking us in was still bright eyed and bushy tailed. That is how the staff was during the whole trip. It really made our experience something to remember, and has us wanting to plan our next trip.

We spend a lot of time in Orlando because we hold annual passes to Disney World. The Hilton Orlando is a perfect option for anyone coming in from out of town because pretty much all of the theme parks are within 15 minutes. Drew wanted to do a little birthday shopping at the famous Orlando Premium Outlets, and it only took us about 10 minutes to get there.

Once we got back to the resort in the early afternoon, we didn't feel the need to leave at all. There was so much to do on site, including 4 dining options. We started off our day at the Bistro where we ate a late breakfast. They made us made

to order omelettes, waffles, and a ton of other breakfast items. If you are wanting a nice dinner, that was there too! Spencer's steakhouse is right in the lobby area and serves a beautiful dinner menu. That is always a plus for me personally because packing up kids can be a struggle, so having on site options is a win in my book. Another fun little restaurant is right by the pool! They serve food, and delicious frozen cocktails. That was probably my favorite stop of the trip. Who doesn't love a good cocktail while by the pool.

If you guys are making a trip to Orlando to look for a last minute getaway or to plan a vacation to Orlando, I can not recommend the Hilton Orlando anymore. Have a fabulous rest of the week, XoXo <3
